MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN

What follows is not a work of fiction, or an intent to infringe upon the almighty Disney’s copy rights. It is an unofficial reflection on the ideals of The Sith, and a personal philosophy built upon those ideals. We begin with a break down of the recognized code of The Sith.

Peace is a lie

There is only PASSION

Peace is lie, is a statement formed in recognition that we are flesh and blood, we are essentially animals in this physical world we live in and as such we are bound by certain physical realities. Genetic traits being one of these. What personal experience does the physical aspect of imbalances in brain chemicals another. Mainstream religion attempts to make us define ourselves through the false notion that the body and the spirit are nurtured by the same things and that even in the face of these very real physical realities, it tries desperately to force us to define ourselves through pretending these realities do not matter. By adhering to our Nature we “Sin” against some higher power that created us with this nature in the first place. At worst it teaches us that we are pawns in a sick game and that beyond the certainty after birth that we will die at some point, all that happens in between is “meant” to be. We are slaves destined to sort through the after math of our experiences in this world of conflict. It teaches us how to be willing victims. It teaches us to trust without question a higher being that’s actions are questionable and worst of all it does all of this while giving us an “Easy Out”, A means to deny accountability for the roles we play in this world we live in, the people our actions effect. We blame others for our faults because we are taught to credit God with them first, but never ourselves. It is impractical at best, this belief that Peace can exist, when we are defined by our struggles and conflicts. From birth as we struggle to understand the new world we are thrust into without our consent, struggle with taking our first steps before walking becomes second nature, struggle with defining the difference between NEED and DESIRE, struggle to survive and overcome situations beyond our control, we are faced with the reality that we are defined by our victories and our losses in the wake of these conflicts, both great and small, inner and outward, real and imagined. Somewhere out there, there may be some wonderful and complacent place of perfection where all is “right” by the definition we are taught to believe, but it is not this world we live in.

There is only PASSION. And why shouldn’t that be the case? Looking beyond what we are taught as gospel, PASSION is the key to empowerment. In it our spirits rise, our minds look to the tasks to achieve, our bodies are given the energy to walk the course our minds have plotted. PASSION is the drive to ensure that in between birth and inevitable death we achieve more victories than defeats in this world where conflict rules.

Through PASSION

I gain STRENGTH

PASSION is the spark, through it we gain the will to act, to use the tools available to us, to learn the path to completely overcoming an obstacle or use it to our advantage so that a loss we may suffer is not a complete loss. This will act upon these opportunities, ideas and dreams our minds set forth is the STRENGTH that puts an outcome in the hands of what was once a victim of circumstance or the actions of others. STRENGTH turns our minds, our bodies, our spirits, into an extension of the purpose we set for ourselves.

Through STRENGTH

I gain POWER

Once PASSION has ignited the fire of STRENGTH, STRENGTH in turn becomes the means to determine the outcome. The action by which this outcome is determined is POWER. We in our grand attempt to remain pawns to life or anything else have acquired a false sense of what POWER is. We believe POWER is something that can be bought, that it is given to us through material means or through popularity granted us from those, many of whom can not think for themselves, because they are victims to the weakness forged from the common ideology that what happens in life is completely beyond our control and so they are content with being told what to believe. It makes it easier to deal with. Real POWER does not come from these things. It comes from STRENGTH, which comes from PASSION, which starts from within.

Through POWER

I gain VICTORY

The action taken through STRENGTH is the POWER to make things happen as we see fit. Once we understand this we begin to see how even factors that are beyond our control can be maneuvered around to gain that which we seek, or to gain the maximum that  unknown chance  will allow for a particular scenario. The outcome from that action is VICTORY. VICTORY over the self, over others who seek to stand in the way of your purpose, over circumstance. VICTORY comes in many forms from this action of POWER. It comes in the form of overcoming a habit and breaking a cycle. It comes in the form of knowledge over ignorance. It comes in the form of not allowing yourself to be denied because of the weakness of others who fear what your success could mean for them. It comes in the form defining yourself through designing the terms that bring a conflict to it’s end, whatever that conflict may be.

Through VICTORY

MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN

Once truly aware that VICTORY is within your grasp and does not have to be determined by circumstance that is not death which is ultimately unavoidable and without preset time in most cases, or the actions of others, You are no longer bound to false fate. You are no longer a mere pawn in a deities twisted game for your soul. You are no longer a victim. You begin to realize to just what extent CHOICE plays in life. How many times have you heard the dreaded words “the bible is fulfilling itself everyday” over a circumstance that could be avoided with a little common sense on the parts of those who created it? How many times have you heard things like “God has removed the bad people from your life, in order to clear the way for you to go down a path they can’t follow to better people and things” When the reality is one of once more giving God the credit for the CHOICES made by backstabbing pieces of shit? The Care Bears of the world have a saying. “When I was young I was righteous and I sought to change the world. Now I am old and wise and seek only to change myself.” I ask you in light of the explanations in this post if it does not sound like this code describes the means to do just that? To change yourself? From where I sit. From all I have seen and experienced, it made sense for this code to become my mantra. Because we live in a world where the strong not only survive, they conquer. I will end this not with a line from any Star Wars movie, or book, or little game that I know of, but rather with the first of The Real Sith Proverbs.

” The WEAK shall lean upon a God, While the STRONG become their own.” – Darth Venomous

I have cringed in my old age at all of the kids who grew up with a cheap live action remake of the anime classic Voltron in the form of Power Rangers. You see, when I was growing up all we had were the true kings of kung fu and one stood above all others as a man whose mind was as brilliant as his moves. Though I watched him pretty much my whole life, it wasn’t until I was entering High School that I started reading the philosophical musings of Bruce Lee. Young and in need of something that made sense to me as I was dealing with my own damn teenage angst on top of everything that was going on, I found a logic in the mans words that I started applying to everyday life, and while I would lose sight of that later on, I find myself, as I recover from my current ordeal, falling back into that teaching that had helped me before. Like I told you in an earlier entry. The benefit of starting over from true square one, is that in the midst of surviving, being at a disadvantage in even acquiring the basic essentials like food and shelter from weather, you begin to understand just how much of what you always believed to be important is meaningless in the grand scheme of life itself. It opens your eyes to what you have truly been missing in life, which is important when you consider how many of us have had those moments where we knew that there was something we needed and did not have, but in the clutter of life as we make it, we can not seem to put a finger on exactly what that is. The following is advice that I have been utilizing a lot over these many months as I have fought my way back from a pit that I essentially dug for myself.
